II7 andBuild 5308

This may sound silly, but how do i install II7 with Build 5308, Add remove programs (the vista version) looks broke to me.
Steve

Try checking within Control Panel, and search for Windows Features - it's not easy to find because they keep juggling it around every single build they release!! Then check that it's activated through that.

Maybe it needs to be installed, have you checked under Control Panel, Programs, Advanced Options, Windows Features -- -- Andre Windows Connect | http://www.windowsconnected.com Extended64 | http://www.extended64.com Blog | http://www.extended64.com/blogs/andre http://spaces.msn.com/members/adacosta FAQ for MS AntiSpy http://www.geocities.com/marfer_mvp/FAQ_MSantispy.htm "Steve Drake" wrote in message

Has that been fixed in 5308, because it was broken in 5270.

You might try looking in the Release Notes Addendum, which tells you that you must use PKGMGR from a command prompt, and details all the packages needed for a complete IIS installation.

Where is the addendum located? The Windows Features dialog worked for a while, but I was never able to get a working IIS install (Windows Activation Services woulnd't start). After removing everything from the Windows Features dialog, now nothing displays in it, so I'd like to try this workaround. I've tried the one for 5270 with no luck.

Nevermind I see them on MSDN now.
